Pest Awareness Training Course

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Pest Awareness training course (the “Course”) provided by Elite Pest Management (“we”, “us”, “our”). By enrolling in, accessing, or completing the Course, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Course.
2. Course Purpose and Scope
The Pest Awareness Course is designed to:
- Provide general awareness training related to pest risks in food manufacturing and related environments
- Support good hygiene, monitoring, and reporting practices
- Complement, but not replace, site-specific pest control procedures or professional advice
The Course does not constitute legal advice, regulatory certification, or a substitute for professional pest control services.
3. Eligibility and Access
- The Course is intended for employees, contractors, and managers working in food manufacturing or similar environments.
- Access to the Course may be provided by an employer or purchased directly.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the device and internet connection used to access the Course meet the technical requirements.
Elite Pest Management reserves the right to restrict or revoke access if these Terms are breached.
4. User Responsibilities
By using the Course, you agree to:
- Use the Course content solely for training and educational purposes
- Not share login details or allow unauthorised access
- Not copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell Course materials without written permission
- Complete assessments honestly and without assistance unless explicitly permitted
Any misuse of the Course may result in suspension or termination of access.
5. Intellectual Property
All Course materials, including but not limited to:
- Text, graphics, images, videos, assessments, and downloads
- Course structure and learning design
are the intellectual property of Elite Pest Management unless otherwise stated.
No part of the Course may be reproduced, stored, or transmitted in any form without prior written consent.
6. Assessments and Certificates
- Where applicable, assessments are provided to support learning and knowledge checking.
- Certificates of completion may be issued upon successful completion of the Course or final assessment.
- Certificates confirm course completion only and do not guarantee regulatory compliance or audit approval.
Elite Pest Management accepts no liability for the use of certificates outside their intended purpose.
7. Accuracy of Content
While reasonable efforts are made to ensure the Course content is accurate and up to date:
- Pest risks, legislation, and best practices may change over time
- Site-specific risks may differ from examples provided
Elite Pest Management does not guarantee that the Course content is error-free or applicable to every situation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Elite Pest Management shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from use of the Course
- We are not responsible for operational decisions, audit outcomes, or pest incidents resulting from reliance on the Course
Users remain responsible for following their employer’s procedures and seeking professional advice where required.
9. Data Protection and Privacy
Personal data collected in relation to the Course will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
Data may include:
- Name, email address, employer details
- Course progress and assessment results
Data will be used solely for training administration, reporting, and certification purposes.
10. Termination
Elite Pest Management reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate access to the Course at any time
- Withdraw or update Course content without notice
Termination does not affect any accrued intellectual property rights.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will apply at the time you access the Course.
Continued use of the Course constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with the Course shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
