It is designed primarily for operatives in the food manufacturing industry where pest awareness is critical for meeting health and safety standards that govern every facility, factory and warehouse.

INTRODUCTION: A short introduction module lets you know the course objectives in a little more detail. By the end of the course, you will be able to:
➤ Identify common pests and signs of their presence
➤ Report pest sightings and pest activity effectively
➤ Prevent pest entry and reduce what attracts them
COMMON PESTS: Module 2 walks you through all of the pests you are likely to come across if your workplace is compromised by pest activity. Prevention is key and this module gives you a very strong foundation in what pests are drawn to and what keeps them returning.
PEST ACTIVITY: Module 3 uses real evidence of pest activity collected by our own technicians. This section contains lots of interactive content so you can see real world examples.
There are also lots of chances to test your knowledge as you learn. These help you prepare for the final assessment and see which areas you are stronger on and which you might need to go over again.
PREVENTION: Module 4 looks at maintaining good hygiene and housekeeping. You will feel better prepared to ensure your working environment is not attractive to pests. It will go over the basics but also drill in some excellent housekeeping habits that can prevent a pest problem from every occurring.
REPORTING: Module 5 empowers everyone who completes the course to be an ambassador for pest management in their workplace. Knowing what to report and who to report it to is the best way to help your pest technicians resolve any problems you find swiftly. This module also contains a pdf of our top ten tips for preventing pest problems.

The course is available (via Google translate) in 14 languages. You just have to select the language you would prefer to do the course in from the top right corner of the webpage to begin.
ASSESSMENT & CERTIFICATION
At the end of the course, you will complete a 15-question assessment. You get 45 minutes to take the test, which is multiple choice, and you can retake it 3 times. When you successfully complete the course, you will be able to download your certificate.
